Matchmaker Ltd. is thrilled to have Meagan Murray as their professional rider. Meagan grew up in the Chicago suburbs an rode with the late Jeff Katz in her early junior years. When Meagan was ready to compete in the 3'6" Maclay and Medal equitation divisions she moved to Matchmaker Ltd. She had great success on an ex-grand prix jumper known as "Reba". Meagan qualified for the Maclay finals after receiving a top prize in the Regional Finals. She competed at Harrisburg and Madison Square Gardens under the tutelage of Equitation trainer, Missy Clark. Meagan competed with many top junior hunters during her "junior years".

Once graduating out of the junior ranks Meagan spread her wings and worked for other professionals around the country. In the early 2000's Meagan opened her own business "Equinox Farm" in Mundelein, IL. She bought and sold young horses and ponies and trained a multiple of adult and junior riders with great success.

In 2009 Meagan closed her business and joined Matchmaker as their professional rider and assistant trainer. It was a great benefit that Meagan had the experience of running her own business. By doing this Meagan had a great appreciation of all aspects of the horse business. She brings a wonderful enthusiasm to the farm each day... each and everyone of clients and horses loves her.

Among many wins Meagan's most recent 2010 success was being Champion at the Winter Equestrian Festival in Wellington, Florida on "DiMaggio" as well as receiving ribbons on her Green Conformation mount known as "Rondiamo".
